4. Instagram Data Usage
We access Instagram data solely to:
- Read incoming direct messages to your connected Instagram account
- Send automated responses based on your configured workflows
- Monitor comments on your posts for the DM Commenters feature
- Display conversation history in your InstaSet inbox
We do NOT:
- Sell your Instagram data to third parties
- Use your data for advertising purposes
- Access messages from accounts you haven't connected
- Store Instagram passwords (we use OAuth tokens only)
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information with:
- Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist in operating our Service (hosting, payment processing, analytics)
- AI Providers: Google (Gemini API) for AI-powered responses - conversation context is sent for processing
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Conversation data is retained for 90 days by default. You can request deletion of your data at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), secure token storage, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Instagram Data Deletion
When you disconnect your Instagram account or request data deletion, we will delete all Instagram-related data including messages, conversation history, and analytics within 30 days. You can also request deletion directly through Instagram, which will trigger our data deletion callback.
